Do you offer tours of your facility?

Fox squirrel patient

Greenwood Wildlife Rehabilitation Center provides quiet, personal care to every wild patient, and makes an effort to minimize human-wildlife contact so as not to habituate our patients. Because of this, and also due to liability reasons, we cannot allow visitors or tours of the facility. We do have a facilities page where you can virtually tour our facility on Google Earth and explore via 3D images. Check it out here!

Where are you located?

Our facility is on Ute Hwy 66 between Lyons and Longmont.

What are your hours?

We are open every day from 9am – 4pm.

I found an animal, what do I do?

Please see this page for help in deciding what to do. If this is an emergency during our business hours (9am – 4pm, 7 days a week), then please call us at (303) 823-8455.

How can I work at Greenwood?

Greenwood has many opportunities for you to get involved. Volunteering and internships are the easiest way, and we sometimes have paid positions available.

Do you do educational programs?

Yes, we offer a variety of wildlife education programs to meet the needs of almost any group.

What kind of donations do you take?

Greenwood always appreciates financial contributions, and we are in need of many supplies. We also accept gently used items for our thrift store. You can donate money online through Facebook or our website, or take a look at our wish list for our supply needs.
