Mammal Internship

Requirements

  • You must be 17 years old to apply
  • Provide proof of up-to-date tetanus vaccination
  • Up-to-date pre-exposure rabies vaccination is required to work with rabies vector species*
  • Minimum 15 hrs. per week for the full length of the internship
  • Shifts are 7am-12pm, 12pm-5pm and 5pm-11pm
  • 5 to 10 hrs. shifts spent standing, walking, bending, twisting, and lifting.
  • Ability to work night/morning shifts, weekend shifts, and holidays is required
  • A donation of $35 will be requested to help fund the internship program

March 31st – June 22nd > CLOSED

*April 28th – July 20th > CLOSED
*June 16th – September 8th > CLOSED
August 4th – October 26th > OPEN

*Must have rabies vaccination to intern in these sessions

These internships are unpaid. Ask your college program advisor if your internship at Greenwood can qualify for school credits! You can also contact your county’s Workforce Career Center to inquire about eligibility-based funding opportunities for this internship.
