Volunteer Groups

Greenwood Wildlife accepts groups of volunteers (age 18 and older) to do maintenance, gardening, and cleaning projects around the facility! Volunteers have no direct contact with the animals, and groups can be no larger than 10 people (minimum 5 people). Work is usually outside, requires gloves, closed-toe shoes, and is physical. Typically, we like to welcome groups in the early spring (late April/early May) or in the fall (after Labor Day, September/early October) Monday to Friday, from 10 am to 2 pm. The type of project is decided depending on the season and based on needs.

Send us an email at volunteers@greenwoodwildlife.org if your group is interested in scheduling a day to help Greenwood!
