Symptoms: Anemia

What does the presence of Carnid Flies tell us about the patient?

  • Having several flies present is common, but an infestation can confirm suspected orphans.
  • If a species of bird is difficult to identify, Carnid Flies can give clues of habitat.

Carnid Fly Treatment

  • Manual removal of the flies.
  • Powder and regular bedding change.
