Volunteers will work with the Developpement Manager in planning and implementing special events. This is an opportunity that can be done at the time an event is planned and when the volunteer is available.

Volunteer activities may include:

  • Helping plan and organize special events
  • Soliciting donation items necessary for the events via telephone and internet
  • Assisting with mailings
  • Setting up event materials
  • Creating displays
  • Assisting with the set up at the event venue
  • Other duties as required

Requirements

Volunteers should be energetic, dynamic, outgoing individuals willing to help Greenwood Wildlife Rehabilitation Center further its mission.

Why Volunteer for the Fundraising & Special Events Committee?

As a Fundraising & Special Events volunteer, you will learn behind-the-scenes logistics of planning fundraising events and potentially volunteer at the events. It is a fun opportunity, and you’re directly helping to raise funds for Greenwood and awareness of its mission.

Interested? Please send us an email detailing your experience and why you would like to join our team at volunteers@greenwoodwildlife.org.
