Baby Shower (Spring)

Nutter LunchWith newborns expected on our doorstep in early spring, our baby shower season begins on the first day of March. We need your help collecting supplies for the thousands of baby birds, waterfowl and mammals that will come through our doors this year.

Your in-kind donations help Greenwood to reduce costs for these items and make more resources available for medicine, hospital supplies and specialty foods that aren’t readily available to the public.

We need…

          • Baby food: poultry and banana (no mixes – e.g., chicken and rice)
          • Birdseed: safflower, sunflower and finch
          • Frozen berries
          • Frozen ground turkey
          • Frozen mixed vegetables and corn
          • Timothy Hay & orchard grass from Oxbow
          • Unsalted peanuts in the shell
          • Animal Care & Miscellaneous Items
          • Bleach
          • Copy paper (8.5″ x 11″)
          • Dish gloves (small and medium sizes)
          • Dish soap (unscented)
          • Facial tissue (no lotions or scents, white only)
          • Forever postage stamps
          • Gift cards to grocery & office supply stores
          • Green branches (aspen, cottonwood, juniper, pine)
          • Heating pads (not auto shut-off)
          • Heavy, ceramic dog food bowls
          • Liquid hand soap (unscented)
          • Natural feather dusters
          • Paper towels (white)
          • Plastic spray bottles (25 oz)
          • Trash bags (45 gallon, heavy duty, tall kitchen)
          • Ziploc bags (quart and gallon sizes)

Donations are tax-deductible and can be dropped off at the Center from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. daily or at our Thrift Shop (3600 Arapahoe in Boulder) from 10 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., Monday – Saturday, and from Noon – 4 p.m. on Sunday.
