Our busy season is in full swing and we have over 400 animals on the grounds!  You can help us continue to care for our orphaned and injured animals by donating common household supplies. Greenwood’s baby birds and raccoons are just about all grown up and back into the wild and that can only mean one thing: it is time for our last baby season of the year!  We are in need of volunteers to help us finish up the summer with the baby squirrels that have recently started coming through our door!  Our animal care volunteers help feed and care for the animals every day from 7am to 10pm. Since the High Park Fire began outside of Ft. Collins two weeks ago, our rehab partner to the north, WildKind (part of the Larimer Humane Society), has been overflowing with evacuated domestic animals. Greenwood stepped up to help and took 32 animals, including 16 ducklings, 5 fox kits and 11 birds.
